Guests aboard Crystal’s cruise ships now have the option to carry records of their entire medical history and health requirements anywhere in the world. Luxury travel specialists, Crystal Cruises have partnered with PocketMD, offering guests a service that uses exclusive, high-tech technology to store full medical records on a disc the size of a credit card. The pioneering service lets travellers conveniently carry information on medications, allergies, surgeries, vaccinations, lab test results, EKG readings and dental records.

Once guests have purchased the service and completed the necessary authorisation forms, the experts at PocketMD do all of the work, contacting physicians to obtain the required data. PocketMD then organises, formats and uploads the records without compromising any information supplied by medical contacts or physicians. Compatible with Windows, Macintosh and Linux computer software, this technology is available in all languages and can be used worldwide. The PocketMD can conveniently fit into a traveller's wallet or Crystal's key-card holder.
